General Posting Guidelines

Flaming/ Insulting/ Spamming/ Trolling.

1. Try to make your post constructive instead of making yourself annoying by constant spamming/ trolling. Spam which is over limit will be deleted and a warning will be sent to you. If the problems proceed after several warnings, member will be given holiday for a few days.

2. Try to stay on topic and be polite when asking a question or answering people. Being too sarcastic doesn't help to make you more intelligent. This doesn’t mean that you have to agree 100% on people’s opinion, but you NEED to respect it and take it as an opinion. If you disagree with other member’s opinion, do so in a mature and civilized manner. Respect people as you want people to respect you, treat others like how you want others to treat you. If you find yourself being flamed or insulted by another member, please do not dignify that person with a response. Kindly private message the moderators online and they will handle it in an appropriate way.

3. We strongly believe in the right and freedom of speech & expression. However anything that goes against our beliefs and the purpose of kokorobox will not be allowed.  Posts that are meant to pick up a conflict between members are strongly prohibited. Kokorobox management team has the absolute right to edit, modify, close or delete any content found in this community. No notifications are given upon posts deleted. These posts are only deleted if it is found inappropriate / insulting other members and so on.

4. Please refrain yourself from creating topic to bad-mouth, flame or degrade certain member(s). Such topic is consider as offensive and will be removed without warning. Please keep your personal issue limited in PMs or any other source of communication.

5. No racist or prejudiced comments
Any member found posting remarks based on Race, Sexuality, Religion ect will receive more than one warning point, depending on the strength of the post.

6. No Advertising
Placeing a link to a website or forum in your signature, tital or avatar, creating a topic or a post specifically for advertising a website/forum is not allowed.

R & R for Posting in threads

1. Try to search the forum before asking question so that people won't have to answer the same question again and again. Don't forget your good friend, Google too.

2. Please make sure there are no generalizations or any kind of racial content in your post. Such posts are usually prone to flamming by other members who see the need to defend certain issues. If you come upon such posts, please Report to moderator/admin.

3. FULL CAPS are considered rude and avoid using it. Also, please avoid using rAnDoM cAPiTaL CaPs in your sentences as they are hard to read and annoying.

4. Please try to use decent English so that people could understand what you mean. It doesn't matter if you do not have perfect grammar and vocabulary, but at least post in a way that people can understand.

5. Direct-linking images mean you are stealing other people's bandwidth. Direct-linked images will be removed without warning.

6. Member which is found to be using vulgar words constantly is bound to get warnings. If member does not obey the rules, his/her account will be banned for a certain time.

7. Members are advice NOT to post their address, phone numbers, IC number or other personal information in a thread. This is for your own safety. If you have posted your personal information, kokorobox will not be responsible for future misfortune.

8. Members are also NOT allowed to post images of pornography or any images / posts which are found to be offensive to members.

9. DO NOT post a redirection link to other site / forum.

Opening a new topic / thread

1. Please choose topic title that is descriptive and appropriate. Do not open topics with title like "Plss help", "Come in!", "I need help!!!" etc which don't carry any specific meaning.

2. Please state your problem(s) or discussion issue(s) clearly on the first post of your topic. DO NOT start a topic with a post such as "Like the topic says, what your opinion is?” Always make a point to state your opinion first to make it easy for others to reply to your topic. This will avoid any unnecessary misunderstanding.

3. DO NOT create topics only for the sake of promoting your websites/blogs. These belong in your sig. Such topics will be removed without warning.

4. Topic which is repeated will be deleted. Posts in the topic will be transferred to the topic which was created earlier.

5. Open topics in the correct board
We have a selection of boards and you should be able to find a board to fit the topic you want to post. If you accidently post it in the wrong board, a member of staff will move it but posting it in the correct board makes our life easier.

User accounts

1. Each member is entitled to 1 account (1 member ID) ONLY. If you need to change your ID, kindly PM the Admins and state your reason(s). Only reasonable request will be taken into consideration.

2. Members are NOT allowed to share an account/ID with anyone else. Any forummer found to disobey this rule will be subjected to permanent IP ban.

3. If members are banned for certain reasons by the Kokorobox management team, he/she are NOT allowed to register another account. If you are found to create a new account with a new name, a permanent IP ban will be given.

Signature and Avatar regulations

Avatar
Avatar size is limited in board default to 20kb in size and 128 x 128 pixels in size. Objectable images, sexual explict images, political messages, or edited avatar of other members with the intention to insult or flame is not allowed.

Signature
Height of your signature should not exceed 5 lines of 10px text. Images, graphics and text included and the length of the signature should not distort forum templates viewed at 1024X768 resolution.

Beside size, signature content should not contain the following materials:-

Text Based

    * Referral link to other forums.
    * Referral link for commercial purposes.
    * Links directing to illegal and objectable materials (warez, cracks, pornography, pyramid schemes, referral ID's)
    * Links of a malicious nature. e.g. those that crash your browser, trigger popup floods or emulate BSOD's
    * Flaming/Insults of another member
    * Political statements

Image Based

    * Sex Images
    * Flash material with embedded sound
    * Images of objectable materials.
    * Overly distracting, ie. bright flashing colors, animated sigs (i.e. GIF's/Flash)
    * You are allowed a maximum of 8 userbars in your signature.

Also, signature sizes are calculated based on the total size of all images. Please be informed that the total maximum size of all images in your signature is 200kb. There will be lenient enforcement but don't take things for granted.

If you see any violations of Avatar and Signatures rules. Please use the report button on any post of the offender.

The penalties of any violations of Avatar and Signatures rules are as below :

* Avatar - removal of your avatar
* Signature - removal of your signature

Rules and regulations regarding sexual post

1. Any sexual contents posts are ONLY allowed in the sub forum called sexual intimacy. If members are found to be posting posts containing sexual harassment, sexual misconduct or any harassment against any members of the forum, warnings will be sent and the posts will be deleted.

2. Members are also NOT allowed to request for sexual favors, name calling, or any other forms of sexual abusing behavior. If members are found to be violating this rule, he/she will be banned or will be warned (if mild).

3. Nude pictures of artists or members are NOT allowed. If these photos are found, member will be banned / warned. Their posts will also be deleted.

4. Links or websites leading to pornography or sexual images are also NOT allowed.

Report offensive posts

We have a report post feature for a reason. Use it instead of going ahead and flaming the member for it, which you will then probably be warned for. Report only if the post contains something offensive or breaks one of the above rules. Do not use it to contact a member of staff or tell us a comment, that is what the PM feature is for.

Insulting or flaming Kokorobox Management team

1. Members are NOT allowed to open a topic criticizing the moderators or other management team members. Posts that insult the management team will also be deleted and the member will be warned. If members have any misunderstanding or dissatisfaction upon any members of the management team, please kindly utilize the PM box or emails. We will look at the problem clearly and make an appropriate solution towards it.

General rules will be enforced in every forum in Kokorobox.Net. Individual sub-forums may have additional rules to cater to the forum environment, but the general board rules would still apply.

All Rules & Regulations are subjected to changes from time to time without prior notice. Please check and update your knowledge at all times.

Please be aware that the Kokorobox management team has the right to delete posts or close and thread without further notifications. Thank you.
